What most excites you about your work?

When I prepare a tax return or investment partnership accounting, I enjoy seeing the various parts of my work come together in the end like pieces of a puzzle.

What are some of your life's biggest influences?

My parents were my biggest influence; they taught me to be independent and to continuously reevaluate my priorities, because those priorities will change over time. The Air Force also had a large influence on me; they showed me the value of teamwork and the value of operating with a purpose. I had a professor in college who would come to work every day wearing Crocs, and he was the only professor I saw who did that; his ongoing act of non-conformity reminded me of the importance of being true to yourself and to others.
