Working with a concentrated group of 40-50 clients allows me to develop deep, meaningful client relationships. Together, we get to proactively explore choices and life transitions that affect their overall happiness while tackling challenges that keep them up at night. Our TFO team is truly talented when solving complex client issues, continually raising the standard for ourselves and our client experience. I truly enjoy helping the families we serve.
I’ve had the opportunity to work at companies of all sizes at different times in my career. Being with a smaller firm, the personal attention we offer our clients makes my work more meaningful. Every family we serve and every colleague matters. The breadth and depth of services that we provide our families makes us unusual. I also feel a tremendous passion and alignment with our primary goal of helping families live with purpose.
I’ve been fortunate to have several mentors that have each helped me at various stages in life. My parents are the ultimate “yin/yang” couple who each approach things from different perspectives. Their contrasting viewpoints have taught me that there is rarely only one way to solve a problem. In my first job, my cube was right outside Chuck Carroll’s office, and now he and I have worked at several firms together throughout our careers. He’s always offered a clear and simple way of analyzing a situation or a problem. Last, but not least, is my wife. She keeps me grounded and knows when I need a kick in the tail or a little rest. We discuss every important decision in our lives helping us to enjoy the outcome.
