Why did you choose TFO Family Office Partners?

It is important to me to work for a firm that has strong ethics, values their employees and encourages a work/life balance. A firm that talks the talk and walks the walk. I’ve experienced many firms that say one thing, but the leaders do another. Our staff and leadership work to create a welcoming environment with balance and flexibility that attempts to accommodate everyone’s needs, both employees and clients, and strives to do the right thing, all day every day.

What are some of your life's biggest influences?

Growing up with both sets of grandfathers having fought in WW II and both grandmothers being immigrants from war torn countries brought a different perspective to my life. Their hardships, struggles, and triumphs made them into some of the hardest working people I know with a strong value for faith, family, and freedom.

As veterans and immigrants, my grandparents shared with me stories of loss, separation, freedom, and an appreciation for life and faith that made them stronger. Their storytelling helped to shape the person and parent I am today. Their selfless sacrifices help to remind me of the person I aim to be and I am reminded that the world is not here to serve me – or any of us. We are here to serve each other.
